Сodeforces should be banned for Ukrainians just like e-olymp is banned for Russians
It was Russia which invaded Ukraine, wasn't it?
.
First of all it isn't place to discuss politics, people should not hate each other just because of different views, everyone can be mistaken and be exposed to propaganda
Different views as rockets flying into your house?
Educative platforms are not the one to decide who is wrong or who is right. They should be free for everyone.
Most of us don't know much about world politics and politics should not affect educative platforms as well. I don't like e-olymp decision to ban Russians.
Дружок-пирожок, не надо тут начинать апартеид
Любые ограничения по цвету штанов должны были остаться в прошлом веке
Like wars ?
Like wars.
.
Use VPN maybe
Ban Ukraine at IOI
UPD: Why there are so low dislikes? Work harder guys, more dislikes, more!
.
We too
you lost the blue color :&
.
clown
Nice to meet you, clown. How are you?
You are still a clown.
Codeforces is not a place for users' expressing political views. Please stop accusing each other.
Um, like every time somebody creates a list of WF teams and puts Taiwan in the "Country" column, there are dozens of comments from Chinese accounts that say that Taiwan is an inseparable part of China? Are you talking to them now?
They shouldn't either
you are cyan
you are grey
It's my first time support user: Abito ]
thank you
tbh , no one in asia is supporting ukraine.
.
russian who changed Australia to Antarctica in profile? only Zelenskyy can stop this war
.
You aren't supporting your own country, won't you be classified as a traitor. Russia would win iff their citizens are supporting their country.
.
I will choose being a traitor to the corrupt government of the country I was born in by chance over committing horrible crimes against humanity any day.
Are you joking? Like Zelenskyy should let Russians come to Ukraine and take it?
If it ends the bloodshed, why not?
It won't end the bloodshed on occupied territories because the main purpose of ruzzians is to destroy Ukrainian identity and culture, as they did to numerous nations they occupied in the past. All people who disagree with it will either have to leave their cities and everything they have or get murdered. Is it fair enough for you?
So europeans occupied Americas and Africa in the past, britains occupied India, russians occupied smth (?? I supposed russia didn't have colonies). I'm so tangled. But every country carry out its own policy. USA, India, Ukraine, Russia.. policy that collide sometimes with other's. E.g. we hate pakistan, but love russia, you may hate russia, but love pakistan. You are just a small country in the globe, keep it simple
So what's your point, should we give our territories to russia and forget about all Ukrainians from there? Who will guarantee that russia won't invade again?
Please let people from Russia use eolymp.
I understand, say, not inviting Putin to participate in a coding competition, but what did 15-16yo Russian kids do to you?
I understand, say, fighting with armed soldiers, but what did 15-16yo Ukrainian kids do to russian army?
Throwing away parallels and returning back to your question: it's not about kids — it's more like a signal for a whole country that something, khm-khm, lets say, is off. I believe there are many decent people among Russian athletes and chess players who condemn war, but if they will be allowed to participate in international events under russian flag — it will be much easier for putin's propaganda to show to the average russians that everything is fine and they shouldn't worry much about the war.
yeah, better to sow the idea in the young generation that we are not friends
Oh, so apart from that they have all the reasons to think that we are? Is that what your media tells to people? I doubt so.
You could have just announced your contest, but no you had to be a dick.
russia could simply not start the war
Special military operation, not war.
What is the difference ?
Normal people call it war, clowns call it a special military operation, that is the difference
Imagine being on russian cp website with nickname urging to impose sanctions to russian cp community
Like Bruce Willis in Die Hard
Imagine having written a pro-russian comment on russian cp website and still getting a lot of dislikes
UA bots got here with their olympiads' announcements and pro-ukrainian likes
Written from unrated account created 3 months ago.
Written from a still blue account created 8 years ago LOL. I have unofficial submissions of tricky problems in turn https://mirror.codeforces.com/submissions/Dinanath94 no time for contests
My comment wasn't about skill at all, but that the only possible bots there are the guys like you. If you didn't get that — blue is something you wouldn't reach even in 8 years.
Yeah, this one indeed was tricky.
Understandable, commenting here is so time consuming.
You should start thinking about why there are a lot of pro-ukrainian likes and pro-russian dislikes.
Cause this site is visited from Eastern Europe mainly where russophobia flourishes. Here in India, maybe in Latin America and other distant states people are unbiased. Moreover I suppose many russians don't endorse their leader.
You will be surprised, but some people have their own opinions and do not divide the world into "Us vs. Them" or "Friends vs. Enemies". You can have such views in a strategy game. But actual humans are not just resources that their government can use and throw away. You mustn't say "I want that land, so I will kill half of the people who live there so that the other half will agree that I own them".
You don't have to define yourself based on a piece of land you were born on and on who issued your documents. You can be just a human being, and try to be a good human being, instead of being "a good Indian".
Actually you are always representing something. When in institution/company you represent your home, when in country you represent your institution/company, when outside your country you represent your country. You can only represent humanity when aliens/monsters arrive. One might say here that some humans are monsters, in my opinion yes, but who made those monsters? the community of humanity did. As long as there are humans there will be war. For the purpose of greed, wealth and superiority.
Your land is everything you have. If you go in a foreign country, you know nobody and nobody knows you. Everything different and strange, races, languages, accents, food, religion.
Btw, Short Story idea:
From this moment, Nationalism died and humanity lived. World became World and not USA, Russia, China... This revolution after Sir Um_nik posted this comment. We all owe him for the crisis that happened afterwards.
I just typed whatever came to my mind, sorry if you think you wasted your time reading this comment. (I don't think you did).
Yes, you can say that you always represent something. But the ways people represent the same thing can be very different. From my personal case: I am Romanian, but I do not feel proud about this or find being Romanian a truly important thing, even though, like all other countries, my country also has a nationalist community. I did not choose to be born in Romania, I do not really like the country, and I do not feel attached to Romanian culture or traditions. Even though I feel some sort of vague connection to Romania (and this became even clearer since I went abroad), I wouldn't say that my nationality is an important part of my identity. You could only say that I represent Romania from the perspective of the person who does not really care about being Romanian. And wait, I actually come from a relatively prosperous country (for Eastern Europe standards) which has not started an atrocious war, so think about the opinions pacifist Russian people have about their country. I find it thus reasonable to identify as a "good human" rather than a "good Russian/European/whatever".
Check the number of users from India and China and compare it to any country of Eastern Europe.
What about "Here in India people are unbiased" — are you saying that everyone in India has the same opinion? Does it really means "unbiased"?
yeah , everyone in india has almost the same opinion , i.e support to russia. Maybe because of the popularity of putin in shorts and reels depicting him as a goat or the help russia did and is doing to india.
imagine bombing civilians
Thanks for the mirror contest. Its a shame that nobody said thanks in the first 23 comments.
BanRussiaAtIOI The Ukrainian government has banned UA athletes from competing with the russians. Follow them, ban yourself
There were no ukrainians at IOI2016(held in russia)
idk but maybe because of the results
Ukraine did not participate in these events due to the war that started back in 2014
It seems it wasn't a russian ban but an ukrainian withdrawal https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/46512
That's the difference
And that's exactly what he wants to say, since you ask them to "ban yourself."
If America was banned IOI in 2003, Russia should be banned too.
invader is invader I just want to say and IOI must be act equal to all countries
fix ur username
Regarding the terrorist country you mentioned, I would like to ask you to explain why Ukraine has "Azov Brigade" instead of other countries.
What's wrong with "Azov Brigade", and why should we have other countries?
Will any kind of editorial be published?
Задачи первого тура были очень интересные, спасибо
Один из немногих комментов про задачи. Пожалуйста, не превращайте CF в место для политических дебатов, мы тут вроде интересные задачи решаем и учимся чему-то новому.
Slava Ukraini!
Any short solution sketches?
Heroyam slava!
Yes. We are translating the editorial to English. Will publish it today or tomorrow.
Hi, If it is not translated to English yet, can you please provide us with even Ukrainian solutions? Thanks.
Here is the editorial for the 1st round, and here is for the 2nd round.
Where is the English editorial?qwq
Can you kindly post the link for the upsolve, so that I could submit my code after the mirror contest. Thanks.
Russian children solving problems on eolymp will be educated and distracted from propaganda
A funny solution of day1C. According to the O(n^2) , find the nearest pair of adjacent points with the same value, and limit the breakpoint between these two points, enumerating O(1) calculations between these two points is Can.
