If DDOS attack continues, can AtCoder and Codeforces platforms be merged together? Here are the advantages I can think off:-

1) More Servers. When the platforms merge, more servers will be able to handle the contest and DDOS attack can be less severe.

2) Better Preventive Measures. Preventive measures of both the platforms can be combined to make the merged platform more durable against these attacks.

3) Convenient. One platform, much easier for everyone to communicate and synchronize.

Edit: Imagine downvoting because you didn't like the idea. Could have simply mentioned the flaws in the idea and as a community we can find a solution for the DDOS attacks. But that requires effort, so why not downvote the unrated account simply.

    I don't think it's easy to merge them. For example, how to calculate the Ratings? And can both Atcoder and Codeforces support Russian and Japanese easily?

    Adding servers doesn't help much at all. If it does, why can't Codeforces add servers on it's own? Btw, Codeforces and Atcoder contests have different problem styles.

To those who are ddosing ATCoder, or other competitive coding sites, you are mediocre cowards.

I personally respect skilled hackers who fight for an ideal, on whatever side this ideal is, or maybe even for big money. But you, you little cowards, what exactly you think are you doing? These sites are for the intellectual development of people, or at least for healthy fun, they are almost no-profit and run by passionate and relentless people who put their efforts into them, for nothing or for inadequate compensations.

And exactly for this reason, these sites are not well protected against cowards attacks like yours. Because nobody could imagine that there are people around whose brain is so rotten to attack this kind of sites.

A baby hacker would be able to attack ATCoder or the USACO site, you know? So I think the point is: you are very mediocre hackers, or better to say very mediocre people with a keyboard in their hands, because actual hackers would get offended using this word for crap like you. And to ridiculously pretend to be strong and powerful, you attack unprotected sites that provides a valuable free service. You have no dignity. This is just the essence of cowardry, and you are just loser cowards.

Shame, shame, shame on you.
