Meta Hacker Cup Shirts
Hacker Cup prizes are back this year, and the shirts are back in black! The top 2000 participants in Round 2 will win a shirt. If you qualify for Round 3 and finish in the top 200, you'll win a shirt with a top-200 badge on the sleeve instead of the normal shirt.
Just like last year, T-Shirts will be able to be claimed in your Hacker Cup Profile after we have finished plagiarism checks for the Round 3. (or after we have finished plagiarism checks for Round 2 if you didn't qualify for Round 3 and have no chance of winning a top-200 shirt)
You must claim your shirt by December 15th. We will not be shipping shirts after the 15th.
Due to regulations, Meta is also not able to support prize shipments to the following countries at this time:
Shirts shipped to addresses in the United States should be delivered within 1 week of being claimed. Shirts delivered to addresses outside the United States may take up to 3 weeks to be delivered.
Links to track your shipment can be found on your profile page once your shirt is shipped. Please note that you must have to claim your shirt from our vendor's website using the code in your profile. Their website looks like this:
Update: We'll release codes on your profile to all winners at the same time after we finish plagiarism checks for Round 3 on Monday, November 6th.

Update 3: (November 22) Our stock for the following sizes is low. If you select one of these sizes, you will still get your shirt, but it won't be shipped until late December: XL, 3XL, Top-200 XL.

It is high quality. I wore last year's T-shirt very often and it is still just like the day first I wore it.

You don’t need to provide anything before the contest. After rounds 2 or 3 (as described above) you’ll have the prize added to your profile and you can view it there.

Only TopCoder has been doing it, and only for the finalists.
The best way to get a T-shirt with your username at the back is receiving it as a birthday gift.

Good luck to everyone, my first time participating in Meta Hacker Cup though I have heard of it for a long time. A shirt would be very nice!
Claiming a shirt will work even if there isn't an email linked to my profile, right? The issue here hasn't been fixed yet, and a few years ago I missed out on a Hacker Cup shirt I had won because my FB account was registered to my phone number but the shirt distribution depended on having a linked email.
Did it get resolved?
You don't need an email linked to your profile this year to claim a shirt. It'll just be available on your Hacker Cup profile.

It's semi-manual. We've built internal tools which help us and flag people, but we still have to go through and looked at all the flagged instances. Also if someone obfuscates their code we have to check for that too.
Do you see the original file extensions of the submitted source code on your side? These extensions give a hint about the used programming language, unless they are stripped by the system. How do you generally handle the less popular exotic programming languages? The FAQ only says:
Do you expect the contestants to supply more detailed information about the used compilers in such cases?
Do you guys also check for the wrong source code submissions? Like one of my Meta friends submitted a code that will print nothing, and there's one who submitted the code which will give compilation error, for problem A2 and B(same code for both). I think somehow they got the correct output file (maybe they got the code from somewhere), and to avoid plagiarism they submitted random codes.
Yeah, we've definitely DQ'd some people for doing this. There's a chance you would get through if you pass our hueristics, but at the very least you are far from safe.

When claiming my t-shirt, the dropdown list of "Delivery Country" doesn't contain "China", which isn't included in the unsupported country list as stated in the topic of this post. SecondThread, please help ensure China is available to deliver, thanks!

Again, Uzbekistan is not on the list of countries at the third-party vendor site. I believe this is just a mistake, as in your blog, you did not mention Uzbekistan as impossible to ship.
Our vendor says they have added it, but please let me know if you still don't see it.
Also, Turkey is still not on the list of countries at the vendor's site. I think there is a mistake because Turkey is not mentioned as impossible to ship.

How are we supposed to contact support SecondThread?
The "Contact us" tab mentions fbsupport@nadel.com and subject heading "Hacker Cup 2021 — Shirt Order Confirmation #XXXXX" which is clearly outdated.
On the other hand, after submitting an order, it mentioned metasupport@nadel.com and subject heading "Hacker Cup 2023 — Shirt Order Confirmation" but that mail does not seem to work at all?

Thanks for letting me know. Who is asking you to pay the $75? I'm meeting with our vendor tomorrow to learn more, and I'll definitely ask about this. Some countries have import tariffs that need to be paid by the recipient of items, but I believe the shipping is paid for by Meta (this import tariff might not be though).

As of now, I haven't received my T-shirt. Some of my friends in the same city have already received theirs. Unfortunately, I don't have the tracking code. How can I obtain the tracking code for my order?
I ordered L-Size T-Shirt but unfortunately it is very loose. I usually wear L size T-shirts only, infact last year's L size Tshirt fits perfectly.
Is it possible to replace this T-Shirt for a Medium size?? (since it was written they can attempt to deliver this twice)

No, the attempt to deliver it twice means the delivery driver will attempt to give you your package twice. You can only win one shirt and can't exchange it after ordering it.

Please read update 3 in the post. For certain sizes, we'll ship your shirt shortly after the window to claim them ends, because we'll have to print a second batch.
I didn't receive any mail to claim the prize, back in 2021 I got a mail to claim prize, but not this year and when I came to know about the option on profile the deadline had passed, can you please help me to get the shirt.
