Dear Codeforces Community,

A team of three talented and passionate programmers :{HazemRawi,_OmarAbdo, and __KABAB}competing under the name "No Wife No Life", recently qualified for the Arab and Africa ICPC Regional Contest after excelling in the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC). This incredible opportunity allows them to represent not only their country but also their university, showcasing their skills on a regional stage against some of the best programming teams.

However, they are currently facing a financial challenge that could prevent them from attending. The registration fee for the contest is $1,500, which they are unable to cover on their own. With the contest just two weeks away, they urgently need support from the community.

How You Can Help: If you’re able, any contribution to help cover their registration fee would be deeply appreciated. Here’s their crowdfunding link: https://gogetfunding.com/NoWifeNoLifeACPC/

Every little bit helps and brings them closer to representing their university and country, while achieving their programming dreams on the regional stage. They are determined to give their best performance and make all their supporters proud.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can provide.

Can you please write to ICPC/ACPC organizers that you can't afford the fees, asking what should you do about it? And share their response.

I'm saying this because when I raised the ACPC fees issue to Bill Poucher, he said that it shouldn't be a problem and organizers are happy to help find sponsors. I don't really believe this but it won't hurt to try. And if you fail, we will have a concrete example for future discussions.

Nothing will change I guess since this issue has been talked about many times and ICPC/ACPC don't give a damn

I find the competition fees to be somehow exaggerated, given that it will be very difficult for one to take part in it, especially from a developing country. I do hope this problem will be solved or that the competition fees will be reduced.

I hope you find the money necessary for your participation. But I have a question, why isn't your university paying for you? Isn't that the usual case?

Some do and some don't and most universities pay only for the first-ranked team. IDK if that's fair or not but $1500 in Egypt is too much money to pay for some students so it's ACPC's problem to ask for that much money
