ltaravilse, he was that kind, funny and super helpful guy. I'm sure many of us interacted with him some how, and I was lucky to meet him in person more than once. Everyone from the old TopCoder days should remember him.
Sadly, and I still can't believe it, he passed away yesterday. This is a really sad event for the whole competitive programming community. People from South America can tell more about how kind and helpful he was.
MikeMirzayanov, can we please have a round in his name?
Rest in peace my dear Leo.
MikeMirzayanov, can we please have a graveyard for such persons?
Nice I think your opinion did not matter or something *_*

I'm sorry about your loss, but... Why should CF say to some author 'Well, you didn't know this guy, but he was great, so your round will be in his name'? I think it would be great if you cooperate with people who knew and love him and make a round. It will be a real thing from guys who suffered and it will be really in his name, not just some meaningless label in announcement.
read carefully and u will notice that he asked Mike to make the round "MikeMirzayanov, can we please have a round in his name?" and not some author :)
Really sad news :(
I'll do my best to host a round in memory of Leo.
Leo was a great guy. He was very enthusiastic about competitive programming, and encouraged a lot of people in Latin America (probably, I wouldn't have competed in ICPC if it weren't for his effort in organizing the training camps in Argentina). I learned a lot from him, and don't have enough words to thank him for all he has done.
I think that making a round in his honor is a great idea. If there's anything I could do to help, please let me know.
Rest in peace Leo. We are going to miss you...
Thanks ahmed_aly for the blog in the name of Leo. As all the people say, He was a wonderful guy and a good friend. He always was helping people with competitive programming in Latin america, so for a huge number of people he was very significant in our life.
A lot of people from Argentina, Latin america and the rest of the world are very shock for the bad news.
Thank you for everything that you did Leo. We are going to miss you a lot, rest in peace my friend.

Leopoldo Taravilse (ltaravilse) was one of the guys who interacted with the community a lot. One of my earliest memories of Topcoder is the community discussions in which he so actively participated. So, many educational, intellectual and fun discussions on Topcoder, he was part of. His enthusiasm as a competitive programmer was really awe-inspiring.
Rest in peace, Leopoldo.
If there's some gesture we, as a part of the community, can do in Leo's memory, we should. Thanks to Topcoder for organizing an SRM in his remembrance.
I'm from Argentina, and I had the pleasure of meeting such an amazing person. He spent years of his life making the competitive programming community bigger and bigger. I can't believe that he was with me and my friends, drinking some beers two weeks ago. Rest in peace, Leo. I promise we will honor you from here.
