First, divide the sequence of characters in segments of the same color, for example "AABCA" would be divided in $$$4$$$ segments: "AA", "B", "C" and "A". Notice that for one block, you should change alternating letters to it. For example you transform "AAAAA" in "ABABA". (It can be prooven that it works).
