I want to keep the story short and clear:
On 2020/6/21, I received an e-mail from help@codechef.com. I was told that one of my solutions in APRIL20A was found to be similar to others'.
Let us know within five days, if you think you are being wrongly penalized due to the false positive that MOSS has thrown.
On the same day when I received the e-mail, I replied that I used a third-party code which had been publicly available since 2017, and according to the Code Of Conduct I could use it.
On 2020/6/23, I replied with a new e-mail to ask for the progress.
On 2020/6/26, I thought that maybe I shouldn't reply to help@codechef.com, so I wrote a new e-mail to feedback@codechef.com.
Until 2020/6/30 13:50 (UTC+8), I haven't received any reply to the e-mails mentioned above, and my solutions are still disqualified.
Without any reply for days, I began to think that I might have sent the e-mail to a wrong place again. In the first e-mail, I was only told to "let them know" without any instructions on how to reach them.
However, I heard that some people got a quick reply after writing a blog post, so I guess this is the proper way to reach CodeChef admins.
I hope that "writing a blog post" can be added in Contact Us so that no one will be wasting his/her time on writing e-mails to CodeChef.

We have more than 400 similar emails, and it will take us at least 2-3 weeks to get back to all of them, if not longer. Your rating will not be dropped in the meantime, and if your case is a false positive, be rest assured that it will be taken care of. But sorry, there really is nothing much we can do to hasten this manual process as of now.
In this case, I think it's understandable. However, it could be better if you can add this information (there could be many similar emails, so perhaps you have to wait for several weeks) in the email. Now we are only told to reply within 5 days, and worry about rating dropping because there's neither a reply nor an expected date of a reply.
That's a fair point. We'll add it in future emails.
Worry about rating on codechef? Seriously?
I had received similar mails for April 19A after a year and the Codechef team has not replied to me since April 23.
So should I assume that I have been accused of plagiarism? In my case, it was use of previously written code snippets from the same source.

I had a similar issue and they replied after reviewing my appeal.
To be exact they replied me after 9 days. Since APRIL Long challenge has considerable amount of rejected submissions, it may take more time in your case.
Never be surprised, since we all know codechef is more or less of a joke.

my story is also kind of same i shared my template file with my friend and they put plagrism on the most easy problem ,i too sent a mail but did not got a reply either.pls look into my matter to my codechef handle is same as codeforces handle.

Can any one please tell me , I just tagged user ** CodeChef_admin **, But why you all downvoted my comment ? It is the official admin account of codechef.
