Hello!

I'm part of a team organising a programming competition in my area. We feel like the tasks we have, might be suited to host a mirror contest on CodeForces. Who is the right person to contact for this? I've tried contacting Mike himself, but I presume he is too busy to respond to it right now, which is very understandable. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your time, and stay safe!

Have you tried "Propose a contest/problems" ? I believe it can help.

Your highest rating is 2257 so you can enable Coach Mode. Then you can add a contest in Codeforces Gym. The contest problems can be pulled from Polygon, or uploaded with a tool.

But if you want to do it more "offically" — creating a contest in https://mirror.codeforces.com/contests, theoratically you'll have to contact a Codeforces manager. I've not tried this.
