Google never runs plagiarism test on Kickstart and finalizes the rank-list as it is . I urge Google to run a plag test so people can get their deserved ranks.

Cheating is becoming so regular nowadays
tbh, no one cares but check terms point 9.1 B. If it is a rule that the code shouldn't be copied then what's the problem in running a simple plag check?
I notice one thing this time.
Last year in every round, ranklist froze in about a minute contest ended. This year, it is still showing "in review". So, maybe they'll check plagiarism.
There was one guy who even live streamed A soln. Just 5 mins before reading this post i was searching for solutions for C and D for upsolving and saw the video which was streamed during contest time. I reported it and i'll attach the link for proof :

Because of people like these the quality of competition reduces a lot be it on codeforces or any other platform.
See...Google does not hire anybody based on kickstart or codejam performance with rank of 500 or 1k. If you have to become noticeable to google get under 100 rank and I am sure none have got rank under 100 through cheating. So chill. Moreover it seems that you are very much interested in searching these videos and telegram channels, hence you could have cheat as well.
Even if you or anybody else got chance for interview by cheating, he is obviously going to rejected.
Please stop spamming platform like codeforces with such shitty posts every now and then. Once in a while is okay but it has become mandatory post after every contest.
I’m pretty sure google hires based on performance of rank 500 in codejam. From what I’ve heard, they contact people from round 3 which is <1000 people.
From what I have heard. Gone are the days when 5 stars on CodeChef, 1000th rank in kickstart used to be a wildcard.
They hired a lot of people last year and from this year onwards you should be at least 2700+ rated on codeforces or under 25 rank in codejam to have some realistic chance. Even under 23 rank wasn't enough last year.
So the conclusion is cheating and copy-pasting to get 1st or 10th or 100th or 1000th or 10000th or 100000th rank in kickstart is pretty useless.
2700+ ? Google hired girl students from my college with rating 900 and like. Google, Microsoft, GS are most biased and have an anti male hiring process.

Have you ever looked at the google organization on codeforces? There are over 250 members, and only 4 have a rating > 2700.
At least lower 30-40% of the people in that list don't work in Google. Even I can keep my organization as Google lol.

I know couple of people who got under 200 rank consistently in 4-5 kickstarts ,contacted by google.

I was 150th in codejam last year and Google rejected me basing on my CV, so definitely that's not the rule :)

In Round 3 — that was my final position. It doesn’t make much sense to use positions from previous rounds.
No always, I was contacted by google due to google code jam (i couldn't continue the hire process because i dont know english very well), and my best result was 1516 position at the year 2015.
People upvoting the post saying that cheating is fine, something is not right here.
Those who share solutions during the contest should be banned for life from any kind of competition and pretty sure Google can do it if they want.
this happens everytime because there is a country in a world where people do CP to get good ranks to write on resume and show off actually people have very bad ideology here. DOn't mind just ignore these cheaters assume that in top 1000 700 are cheaters and in top 2000 1500 are cheaters. I always keep this in mind while calculating my rank as CP community comprises of 70% INdians and 80% Indian mostly cheat. Cool.

Reality is reality and it is harsh to digest just don't see this telegram group. I live in a hostel here people form groups of 10/20 whatsApp groups I Have observed many different regions in India everywhere people coming in between to discuss the questions meanwhile a contest is going on. people calling each other for testcases there solutions.and many things else only one thing is exposed right now? do you know any stats of how many whatsapp / discord / fb / private groups are there just for this. I bet there are many which are not exposed. No plagiarism finder is invented who can find plagiarism in 2 rearranged codes. there are many tricks people knew to solve plag issues. I am sure of my statistics I observed this for whole 2020.
Regarding the part of bad rank I have solved A , B , C problems in reverse order in todays kickstart too and I am proud to say that I did it myself. Even I bet my codes are well optimised and short enough to explain anyone. as they are invented codes by me.

So, according to you if indian cheaters stop participating then you must be some legendary grandmaster or something above than that too if your formula gets a update meanwhile.

.Btw If 80% of Indians are cheaters then the video link you shared or telegram grp msg must have more than 5000 + view(assuming atleast 10000 participated)...But no they dont even have 500 so Dont you think that your activity is more of cheater than 80% of Indian

Is telegram a pseudonym for online cheating platform ? These guys are defaming coding community and coding communities must exercise control over these platforms otherwise this is very harmful for small coders mainly specialist and pupils because that is why some questions get so much submissions that our rank and ratings drop eventually .
No, telegram is just a platform, like discord or reddit. The problem here isn't with the platform, it's with the people who are sharing information to others, and the people who want to compete by using that information that they got in an illegitimate way.
If you got rid of telegram, the cheaters would just move somewhere else. We should want to do something to discourage the behavior instead, rather than trying to force them to stop by controlling what people have the ability to say.
Participants should be honest. It is for our skill boost and for our improvement . So we should not cheat.

It is from India for sure. Very simple to check. Look at the ranks 69 onwards. From 69 almost every rank is from India apart from a few in between. There may be genuine Indian participants in the list but for the most part I think they have copy pasted the code.
As an Indian I am disappointed because several genuine participants who worked hard, Indian or not, have not been rewarded appropriately.
Thank you Google , my rank changed from 3k to 2k , seems like my estimate on number of cheaters was smaller than the actual number :P
No not at all ... the plag was successful only for a small number of cheaters. My average kick-start rank was 2k less than my current rank (after plag check). You can only catch cheaters through plag check if the cheater has copied the code blindly. Else if you get the logic and write the code by yourself the plag-checker can't catch you. However even a small hint in such contests is enough to crack the problem. I am pretty sure same plagarism happened even in the code-jam qualification round 2021.

nobody can take actions by looking into the group... a telegram group or whatsapp group can't be deleted on the grounds of cheating... as per their community rules. So it will only create more cheaters.
