On behalf of the organizing committee, we are thrilled to invite you to participate in the second edition of the Pan-African Informatics Olympiad 2026 (PAIO 2026), which will be proudly hosted onsite by Rwanda.

More information on the competition is available at https://2026.panafricanio.com/. Please note that online participation is available for countries unable to attend onsite, although in-person attendance is highly recommended.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with the brightest minds across the continent, showcase the algorithmic expertise of African students, and experience the beauty and vibrant innovation of the Land of a Thousand Hills.

PAIO 2026 pre-registration is now open. Please take a moment to fill out the form (https://forms.gle/eLQZM7pnxagKGUaa9) at your earliest convenience — it takes less than 2 minutes. We also warmly invite guest countries to take part in the event.

For countries that already participated last year, registration is already open through the same platform as before: https://registration.panafricanio.com/login. You are still required to fill the pre-registration form.

We are inviting problem proposals for the first edition of the North African Olympiad in Informatics (NAOI), hosted this year by Algeria. As the number of submitted tasks remains insufficient, we have extended the submission deadline to March 15th.

If you have interesting problems to contribute, we would love to see your proposals! Please include your name and country in your submission.
