arnabmanna from meghnad saha institute of technology got top 100 rank overall and 11th rank within rated participants. His college name was written on his profile during the contest when I checked but he immediately removed it after the contest. I have mentioned it multiple contests before as well that some high rated coder is giving him solutions possibly 1_2_3_4_5_9 . I have mentioned previously that arnab was solving 1 problem in div2 in september 2024 and then in 1 week on october 6th 2024 he solves 4 problems in a div 2 round. This is just not possible. He also got 204th rank which means he solved it fast. Someone should complain about him to his college. He is in his 4th year of engineering and looking for jobs according to his linkedin.

I am mainly worried about high rated people like the Abhipsita Das sharing code with others which might lead to cheaters flooding the rank list. I don't think online prelims is a good idea for this reason.

How do you plan to handle cheating for the prelims. In the recent Enigma'25 Cybros LNMIIT there was a lot of cheating. Since there are job opportunities in this a lot of people will try to cheat and even unfairly quality for the offline regionals taking spots from deserving people. Ofcourse cheaters won't do well in the offline regionals to qualify for the finals but we cannot expect such reasoning from sub 70 IQ losers.

@arnabmanna got the 2nd position and @1_2_3_4_5_9 got the 3rd position solving the same problems. @1_2_3_4_5_9 is already known to be a cheater. I discovered @arnabmanna 's profile randomly from a comment on codeforces blog and was quite surprised to see his contest history. In the beginning he participate in 3 div2 round and 1 div3 round. He solved 1 problem in each div2 round and 2 problems in the div3 round. He was getting ranks around 8000-10000. And then in 1 week (from 29th Sept 2024 to 6th Oct 2024) he participated in one more div2 round solving 4 problems and getting a rank of 204. I don't like accusing people without evidence but I think this is good enough evidence to conclude he was cheating. In no world can someone who was solving 1 problem in div2 suddenly solve 4 problems in 1 week time and get a rank of 200 from 8000-10000.
