Programming and Algorithms Group, and SDSLabs of IIT Roorkee are jointly organizing their flagship programming competition, Insomnia. Since its inception in 2009, Insomnia has been witnessing an increasingly huge international participation. Noticing participation from some of the leading names of competitive programming, PAG and SDSLabs have amped up the level of the competition from a 12 hour to a 24 hour contest. Need Help In solving ACM ICPC regional Problem I was trying to solve this question which was asked in the ACM ICPC Amritapuri regional today morning. [Click here](https://www.codechef.com/AMR16MOS/problems/AMR16I) Both the main and the mirror contests have ended . The only conclusion which I made is that the growth of the numbers is exponential and hence the maximum number of elements cannot exceed 60 and this is a subset sum problem. Any hints on how to approach this problem would be appreciated. Thanks

Unsolved Problems From ACM-ICPC Asia-Amritapuri Regional 2017 Contest Hello there, Me and my friends were solving last yearsACM-ICPC Asia-Amritapuri Regional Contest problems. At last we got stuck in these two problems. Turns out, the Editorial is not out yet. So i was hoping to discuss these two problems here. A Simple Polygon https://www.codechef.com/problems/SIMPPOLY and Sliding Puzzle https://www.codechef.com/problems/AMPUZZLE For the "A Simple Polygon" we were thinking of doing a Delaunay Triangulation in nlog(n) and printing out 500 diagonals from it. But i dunno, Maybe, that is an overkill for this problem. Also is there any good implementation of Delaunay Triangulation in nlog(n) out there, which is worth putting in my notebook? Any sort of help is appreciated. TIA.

Need help in problem Afghan Jerseys from ACM ICPC Amritapuri Onsite 2014 I am currently trying the following <a href = "https://www.codechef.com/problems/AMR14A">problem</a>.<br> I have some thoughts for solution but I am unable to solve it completely.<br> My thoughts are as follows &mdash; If we have a pattern like a*b, then if the first occurrence of 'a' in string t is at index i and the last occurrence of 'b' in string t is at index j. Then our answer will be the number of distinct subsequences of the string t(i,j). Here t(i,j) means the substring of string t from index i to index j.<br><br> But the problem is that I am unable to think of a general solution. I am also not able to find any editorials. Please help me!
