Hello Codeforces!
AlgoUtsav is back with its 2026 edition! Hosted by the Algorithmic and Programming Society (APS) — the Competitive Programming Club of NIT Rourkela., this year promises tougher problems, sharper competition, and a more thrilling contest atmosphere. Prepare yourself for a challenging experience where quick thinking and teamwork make all the difference.
Contest Format:
Preliminary Round (Online)
- Duration: 3 hours
- Platform: Codeforces
Final Round (Offline at NIT Rourkela):
- Date: 10th & 11th January
- Two Phases: ICPC-based Team Contest (Day-1) and Individual Contest (Day-2)

Eligibility:
Everyone is welcome to participate in the Preliminary Round of AlgoUtsav.
However, only undergraduate students from any institute in India are eligible to win prizes.
Rules & Participation:
Teams must have 2-3 members from the same college.
Each participant must have a Codeforces account.
A team must be created on Codeforces before registration.
One individual can be part of only one team.
Multiple registrations will not be allowed to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all.
Sharing solutions or using AI-generated assistance during the contest is strictly prohibited, ensuring fair play, integrity, and genuine individual problem-solving.
