Hello Codeforces!
AlgoUtsav is back with its 2026 edition! Hosted by the Algorithmic and Programming Society (APS) at NIT Rourkela, this year promises tougher problems, sharper competition, and a more thrilling contest atmosphere. Prepare yourself for a challenging experience where quick thinking and teamwork make all the difference.
Contest Format
- Preliminary Round (Online)
- Date: Wednesday, 16 December 2026, 14:00 IST
- Duration: 3 hours
- Platform: Codeforces
- Final Round (Onsite at NIT Rourkela)
Eligibility
The online preliminary round is open to all participants.
Only undergraduate students studying in Indian institutes will be considered for prizes.
Rules & Guidelines
Each team must consist of 2–3 members from the same college.
Participants must have valid Codeforces accounts.
A team should be properly created on Codeforces before registering.
A participant may represent only one team.
Fair play is essential:
No multiple registrations.
No sharing of solutions during the contest.
AI-generated or AI-assisted solutions are strictly prohibited.
Final round structure:
Day 1: Team contest
Day 2: Individual contest
