I have solved some 800 — 900 rated problems and I feel that it is enough for me to practice 800 — 900. Do you think should I practice topic wise or solve the problems from the recent contests? As I decided to start solving more 1000-1300, I want to know which kinds of problems should I solve.

It is best just to solve a little harder problems. Doing topic-wise problems is only preferred when you are doing your weak points, otherwise just turn off tags and try to upsolve contests, or keep solving problems rated 1000 — 1300. If you are stuck at a problem, then you may not have the skills / DSA to solve the problems, so it's best to look for the edutorial
