Anyway, if you had read before posting your condescending comment, you would realize that this is a bug in the C++ compiler that CF uses: https://sourceforge.net/p/mingw-w64/bugs/338/. This does not comply with the C++ standard. The same code would pass in MSVC or any other compiler. So yeah, even if I did appeal, I'm not "appealing a judgement because I don't like it".

I learned it from https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19064133/understanding-kadanes-algorithm-for-2-d-array. It's just 1D Kadane's applied to a 2d matrix using prefix sums. I'm not aware of anything faster than O(n³), and O(n³) was more than sufficient for the problem since n = 200.

I think you mean gold P3? If so, 2D Kadane's algorithm and a line sweep while maintaining maximum subrectangle on both sides of the line should work (for right-left and up-down separately). Unfortunately my own implementation had a bug and I could only get 11/14 testcases but I verified the technique with at least one person who got a full solve.
